Most people in today’s world work in some sort of team, and there is strong research that supports the common wisdom that team performance usually surpasses individual performance. Yet many of us have more experience working with poorly performing teams than with high performing teams. An effective team leader can make all the difference.
This module provides content and experience (via case study and role play) in leading effective teams. It outlines a model of team development and looks at the role of the leader at each stage of development. Tools and action plans are provided for applying these concepts to participant’s real world team situations.
